ASSESSMENT DAY

I apologize for having the wrong date for the Assessment Day in the newsletter.  It is Monday, May 12.  A - L will come from

8:45 - 11:45 and M - Z will come for their assessments from 12:30 - 3:30.  Kindergarten:  Please check with your child's teacher.

SCHOOL CARNIVAL 

The school carnival is coming, May 16th from 5-8p.m.

Get your tickets now!! PTO is looking for parent volunteers to help out. Student council is in need of donations for the cake walk. 

                         TIME CHANGE FOR 2008-09 SCHOOL YEAR 

Beginning August 2008, Hunters Glen Elementary School will begin at 7:45 a.m.-2:30 p.m. except Wednesday, early release, which will be 7:45 a.m.-1:15 p.m.   The first bell will be at 7:40 with the tardy bell at 7:45.  Make your child care plans now!

Hunters Glen Elementary Registration

Registration for students new to Hunters Glen for the 2008-09 school year, will be held March 3–June 1.  Hours will be 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  To register, parents need the following in hand:  birth certificate, current immunizations, and proof of residency (contract/lease, public service, or phone bill).  Kindergarten students need to be 5 years old on or before September 15th.

If there is enough interest, we will offer All Day Kindergarten with a monthly tuition. The deadline for All Day Kindergarten registration is April 18. If there is a lottery necessary for that class it will take place on April 30, 9 a.m in the school cafeteria. Fall registration will be August 5 – 18 as classes begin August 19, 2008. Please review Adams 12 school district policy on age requirements for kindergarten.
