My classroom for the 2009-2010 school year is in mobile 5 (outside near the basketball court)
Each night your student should Read for 20 minutes and record it in their Reading Log. Your student should bring home a reading log every Friday or Monday and return it the following Friday morning. Reading logs require a neatly written summary each day. Reading Logs must be reviewed by a parent and initialed each day to get full credit. There are five styles of Reading Logs. I have created a link below, in case your student can't find this weeks reading log:

Reading Log for this week: Regular Reading Log- Due Friday, Novemeber 20th
Spelling Words - Week Eleven ***The Test will be Monday morning**** -rival, gerbil, journal, signal, nostril, stencil, normal, global, fossil, council.
Week Twelve - schwa plus "L" sounds - tonsil, peril, mobile, pupil, missile, hostile, sterile, civil, evil, futile. Spelling Test - Friday, November 20th
Math: Monday SL5.4, Tuesday SL5.5, Wednesday - SL5.6, Thursday - 5.7, Friday - SL5.8
Read Aloud: We are reading a Sharon Creech Book: Walk Two Moons
Reading: We have finish Sharon Creech and are beginning some small non-fiction texts.
Writing: Next week we will begin our diary entries. This will be due on 11/20- See Discovery book p.27 for directions. At least a page long. It will count as a writing and social studies grade.
Social Studies: Discovery- Maps skills, then begin sailing. Learning about the colonies.
