Dear Student's and Parents,

Welcome to the 2009-10 school year at Hunters Glen Elementary School ! I hope that you are enjoying a wonderful summer and are ready for a fun and challenging school year. For those of you that may not be familiar with our community, Hunters Glen Elementary serves a population of approximately 730 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. Our school includes students from diverse ethnic, cultural and linguistic backgrounds. There are 29 classes. Our class sizes vary according to the grade level of the students. We strive to keep kindergarten through third grade below 25 students and fourth and fifth below 30. We offer both a half day kindergarten as well as tuition based full day kindergarten. Each class, K-5, attends art, computer, physical education, health and music on a rotation basis. In addition, we offer a KEEP (Kindergarten Extending Education Program) as well as numerous after school co-curricular activities through our Bear Crawl Program. These are also tuition based.

Kindergarten registration for the 2009-2010 school year will continue through August 18th. Please try to register as soon as possible at our Central Enrollment office.  It is located at 1500 East 128th in our Educational Support Center.  This will help us ensure we have corrrect enrollment and class list information! 

We hope to have class lists posted Friday, August 14th, at 3:00 on the front school windows.
