SECOND GRADE
What a beautiful start to the new year!! We have finished midyear testing. We are very proud of the progress that our students have made since the beginning of the year. We will be celebrating Black History Month in February. We will learn about all of the important people who worked to change history. In math we have finished Unit 6 and will be starting on Unit 7. Please remember to work on math facts and read every night with your child. For science, we will begin the unit on Pebbles, Sand and Silt. In reading we will be looking at different genres. We will focus mainly on fairy tales, folk tales, and poetry. We are looking forward to the Valentines Day parties!
